Alona Bach is a historian, actor, playwright, illustrator, translator, teacher, and serial archive-haunter.

She recently defended her PhD in MIT’s Doctoral Program for History, Anthropology, and Science, Technology, and Society (HASTS) where her research sits at the intersection of the history of technology and Yiddish studies. She is the current David Berg Fellow at the Tenement Museum.
